Why can`t you alter all parameters avaliable in MyECU in ECUcontrol software?
Any reason you have to alter some in a .txt mode/program like WordPad?

No reason.

Usually just a case of not having got around to it.

First a feature gets added to the ECU, then the map parsing code ( notepad editing ), then GUI of the ECUController/ Optimiser.

Sometimes features come and go before even getting to the last stage. This was particularly the case for some starting parameters as there where,I think, 3 completely different mechanisms used to get cold starting to where it is now. Anyone remember AnalogTracking ?

Any particular parameters you're thinking of?

I have been a bit lazy of late when it comes to ECUController.

In the My16M Configuration tab,
would be good w a just a little space you could mark/unmark f TDC while cranking=1 or 0 f testing.

Btw, I can only open this tab once per map, then I have to a. switch map or b. turn Ecucontroller off!
Software glitch?

I had a quick try this morning and couldn't see a problem in bringing up the dialog. I was in offline mode.
Do you see the issue when offline?

More precice:
W Ecucontroller, bike power on, I can alter the tab My16M Configuration values as many times as I want.

When I then turn Bike Power off, I can only open this tab once.

The ECUController is marking the configuration block as invalid so that it gets updated from the ECU.
That's the way the software verifies what the ECU has.

I wont be changing the ECUController for this as hope to replace it soon and the workaround is simple. Turn the bike back on.
