I would suggest that you develope software for the P8 ECU that allows it to run on the single sensor setup that the P15/P16 is using.

This might sound stupid in the guzzi world but would makes perfekt sense in the Ducati world.
I know several people (including me) that installs newer engines (P16) in there 851/888 (P7 / P8 bikes) This involves replacing the whole wiring loom.

If it was possible to get a ECU that works with the P8 loom but is using the P16 sensor it would be very good and I think a big possibility to enter the Ducati market.

I would guess that it just a question of updating the software a bit but I could be wrong.
