Title: tps value on map
Post by Quattroporte on 03/25/10 at 12:26:06
Probably been covered before but I was getting frustrated by how the bike was running with the map provided by clif for the 04 v11s and looked into getting an LC-1 to iron things out... However, just as an experiment, I used the provided map and changed the tps value to 1  and wow, what a difference !  WOT is still a little off but everywhere else is great. I just leaned out the idle a bit and that was it.  my throttle shows around 92 and the left value that shows on the box is 1.5
What just happened?  seems like the bottom row of the map is basically not being used because the throttle never goes down enough...

Thanks for your comments...

By setting TPS to 1 you have effectively richened up all of the map by a bit, and wasted an entire row of the map.

You would achieve the same result by setting TPS to 92 and then richening up the map. Say 10% for lower third, 5 % for middle and 2 % for top, or similar

Thanks, I think it was an easy way to see where the map needed to go. Regards

I've reset to tps value to actual and just modified the map down and extrapolated full throttle and seems to behave the same way and now of course I have all the cells with work with. Thanks
