1. If a bike likes a bit more or less ignition,
does that show in AF/Lambda values, or just in Hp/Torque figures? 2. In what tuning scenario is Injector dead time important? |

Injector dead time is to help the accuracy of the barometric compensation.
It also helps those bikes with always on headlights at idle when the voltage drops. |

I think it does, sort of. But it will be hard to distinguish unless on a dyno so it would be better to tune for HP anyway. As far as I understand: Anything that results in need of enrichening in order to reach a target AFR is an improvement. That is why I tossed my pods, they made the closed loop lean out the midrange by about 10%. No matter how you put it, that can only mean less power. |
