I warmed the beast up with the old ECU and slapped Cliffs in. It started first time so I took it for a spin.
I think it might be running a bit lean, misses a beat now and then at low throttle and backfires occasionally when I throttle back.
I am running open loop
I don't have an Optimizer or Lambda probe
The Map is set to think it has an input on Inp1 O2 sensor but I have none.
The map has Idle TPS set at 75. My idle mV measures 420
I am off on a trip tomorrow and I would rather run a bit rich for safety.

Can someone please give me a quick fix.

Sw1 should be set to ON to run in open loop.
The TPS should be set to what your bike requires.
You can divide the millivolts by 5 so in your case it sounds like you need it to be 420/5 = 84. This will make it a little leaner.

                 I had to read the instructions a few times but now I think I understand,
in MyECU Config I change TPS to 84 and select O2 Sensors = None
I will go through the TPS and idle setting in the morning.
Now to make it a bit richer across the board I simply use global map adjust, that's magic. I played with it a few times going back to the original file each time.
I assume the map you flashed is the same as the file you sent, I uploaded the one you flashed as my base map rather than the file.
I'm off on a 600 km overnight trip so I will enrich the map a little (5%) to be on the safe side, better take my laptop I guess.

Yes, I took a copy of "As Flashed", I am using this as starting point.
I tweaked it a bit as per instructions but at some point messed up so I reloaded the original. I didn't have time for any more tinkering so set out on the trip with the OEM/PC as a backup.
After about 60 minutes the bike suddenly cut out. I pulled over and felt for overheating, all seemed normal and the bike started up and ran for another 20 minutes.

I suspect the problem is not with MyECU but perhaps one of the sensors.
I think the tacho was still working indicating the timing sensor is OK
I should have thought to flip the dip switch dissabling the sensors but didn't think at the time.
Would it cut out like that if Oil or Air temperature sensor failed?

At this point I thought it prudent to switch to my backup and carried on.
The stock ECU also has a few quirks, occasionally it will cause a cough and splutter and at one point I thought the exhaust sounded extra loud like the spark was retarded, I don't know if thats a clue.
My fuel consumption seems high, about 9L / 100 km, unfortunately never had a chance to compare with MyECU

Is there anything about MyECU that treats sensors differently than the stock?
Overall impression.
    While running MyECU seemed a definate improvement over stock, the bike seems to run smoother and quieter.

Sudden cut-out could be power supply interruptions. Consider putting in new relays if they are still original.
Also check that the relay seats are snug.

A sensor failure could also cause a sudden cut out but if it restarts its probably something else.

I have recently replaced all the relays with Omrons so I don't think thats the problem but before I try again I will add a light  to each of the two relays that wire to the ECU, mounted at the bars so I can monitor contact status.

Turning the key Off/On again while still under way did nothing but cause a backfire.
Next time I'm out I will wait for it to fail then flip the sensor switch.

Open circuit, short circuit, high temperature?
In what way will MyECU act differently from the stock ECU with the same sensor conditions?

It's pretty much covered in this thread as well as this one. Except we don't talk much about the phase sensor in those. That sensor can cause really serious (and/or intermittent) issues but it doesn't seem very common except allegedly on V10 engines due to a 90 degree cable bend near the cylinder base. But then you should see similar problems with the stock ECU. I'm not so sure it will help but it's just something like $30 if you get the Fiat part.

I have a pretty good map for a v11 sport if you like to try. get me your email address and I'll shoot it over. it wont solve your sensor issues but once you resolve them at least you can compare them.

Ok I tried to get the bike to start from cold. it would fire up with maximum choke but then die a few seconds later.
One thing I notice is the pressure sensor reading low 900s so I suspect I need to change the code for that.
I have no idea where or how to do that

3 - The OEM ECU uses 3 different pressure sensors. In your map file you
should change the presssure line with one of the following
MyECU Cfg Pressure=250mV,120mB,4200mV,1060mB   <---------- I think this is the line I need
MyECU Cfg Pressure=250mV,120mB,3900mV,1060mB
MyECU Cfg Pressure=250mV,120mB,4750mV,1060mB

A little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing  :D

What I meant was how do i access the code, what software do I use for that? :-/

BTW the other morning at 2000 feet @ about 19 C it seemed to start quite easily

Oh, you mean the raw map? It's a plain text file! Open it with Notepad, Wordpad, Emacs, edlin or even Wordperfect  :)  Just ensure you save it in plain text format too and not as a Microsoft Office document  ;)

I use a freeware text editor called PSPad.
