There seems to be a wide range of kits that pop up when you google LC1 Innovate motor sports. What do I really need? :-?
What's in that fancy looking cable, can't we eliminate that and wire the heater up in another fashion?

It's an Atmel CPU inside it. The heater needs very precise control. Check out the DIY kits (not from Innovate) if you want to play with it.

If you go Innovate, you just need an LC-1, a bung for welding to the exhaust and the Bosch sensor. Kits containing precisely that are available.
