I have a P8 &&&& Optimiser manufactured Spring -08.
PC OS W98 SE.
I`ve had no software uppdates.
Want to test a Mini P8 w Bluetooth on my bike.

Q:
Should EcuControl 143 &&&& my Opti be able to communicate w this Mini?

My basic testing w my bike-to-Mini tells me no:
143 via 232 - not work,
Opti: all rows 0, no response to TPS altering.

Like Cliff already said in the other thread you need matching firmware and software as the baudrate is hardcoded in them. The Optimiser will work if you reflash it with matching firmware.

I'll mail you a version of ECUController that will probably work (1.50, I'm sure Cliff has newer versions).

You can also try HyperTerminal: Set it to 57600, but it's not a very user friendly interface :)
