Title: Acc pump emulation? Post by greenmonster on 01/14/11 at 10:08:46
Is that a fixed squirt, same at all revs?
Or a table w different injector values at various RPM? |

No. Its simple in code but hard to describe in practise.
Basically it takes the difference in current throttle from the last and adds it to the current throttle. This new throttle is then used to index into the map. You can see the affect in the logs by comparing the raw throttle value and the throttle index produced. throttle ( for map index ) = throttle + delta throttle. In practise the boost depends on how much you increase the throttle and how quickly. |

It was described here too. And then I think you halved the effect of it in later firmwares, right?

Thanks for that. I thought it was mentioned before. The search on the site is woeful.
You are correct I halved the original boost. |

Thx,
must have missed that thread. But a better explanation for it in this. This emulation seems like a better & more flexible function than MM which uses a table w fixed values at different RPM. I bought my kit in Jan -08, do I have older or newer boost values? |

That change happened Sep 09 so yours is prior to that unless you've since upgraded the firmware.
