The password reset function is not working.  After lengthy attempts to decipher the "symbol" I'll get a password reset email, but the email merely gets me into the forum.  But password reset isn't allowed without your old password.

The email link doesn't actually let me change my password.  It says "action not allowed from outside the domain."

Can an administrator fix the glitch?

No, I still can't get in.  Doing Password Reset allows me a one-time access to the board, but doesn't reset my password so I'm still locked out. 

I'm a bit confused. How are you locked out? You have obviously logging in as yourself to post this message. Why do you need the password reset?

I have been adding IP address blocking recently to prevent russian and chinese spammers ( the bulk of the access to this site ). Perhaps that is what you have.

The password reset doesn't reset your password.  It merely grants you one-time access to the board to post messages or email.  Access is lost as soon as you leave the site.

Password reset can only be done from your profile, and if your account is locked-out then you can't do it. 

It's a catch 22.
