Title: Injector Offset

Which cylinder is affected by the inj offs setting?

The right or left (from the rider's perspective)?

This setting is more for the Ducati owners. I've not come across a need for Guzzis to use this setting.
I couldn't tell you off hand which way it is.

Okay.  I've got one cylinder that runs 50-100 F  hotter than the other.  It has resisted efforts to find the cause.

The hot cyl's plug is darker than the other cyl, which has a normal, tan plug.

I'll alter InjOff and report the results here, if for nothing else, to settle which way the InjOff works.

Have you had the injectors tested and flow checked?
If not you are are just masking other problems.

The simplest thing to do is to change your map around idle ( 3 cells will do it 0,0 0,1 0,2 ) with +8 and -8 and see if makes a difference.

Do this in open loop.

Injectors were sent out, cleaned, and flow tested.
I agree that this is treating the symptom and not the cause.  I hope to tear into the bike this winter, and am seeking a short fix for this summer.
After all, that's the power of Myecu : being able to adjust the engine parameters.

Playing with the Cyl Offset did not greatly affect the temp results.

+10 CylOff did make the left (hot) cyl run with some hot temp spikes.
-10 CylOff acted very similar to the standard Breva11 map.  Both didn't have the temp spikes of -10, but the hot cyl still ran too hot.  However -10 did make the left plug very dark, rich.

Because the change wasn't very great from the standard map, and the hot plug was too rich, I'm just going to run the standard map.  I'll have to attack this problem another way.

You might want to verify on another bike whether this is a normal characteristic. A V90 does have a degree of asymmetry .

I've heard that both cylinders often run at different temps.  I'll start a new thread on this problem, to see if anyone has experience.
