Title: How rich does a Guzzi 1100 Sport like to run?

Hi!

I installed a broadband oxygen sensor on my 1100 Sport, and have made a few runs with the optimizer. It's already running a lot better than with the base map, but I was wondering if there are any particular lambda values that the 1100 seems to prefer?
I've set the target at 0.92 Lambda for most of the map, going down to 0.85 at the top of the rpm / throttle range.

Cheers

Esben

It depends on if you're tuning for power or efficiency and different parts of the map correspond to those different objectives.
I think the motors are fairly tolerant of different mixtures and will problem handle a 20% variation from the peak anyway without issue.
You should however start simple and do a few optimizations of the map with a single target before complicating things with multiple targets.
