Software Glitch Perhaps?

As some of you may know I have been having some problems with my Pressure sensor setting.
Well tonight I thought I had fixed it  by selecting the correst option for my sensor.......4200, 1060 mb but heres what I found.
When I turn the key on the pressure on ECU Controller jumps to 1024, the bar graph starts ramping up from zero.
A few seconds later the digital reading suddenly drops to about 500 then slowly ramps up finally reaching about 659.
Meanwhile the bar graph kept steadily rising to end up about 60% full scale.
I take my Fluke and measure the sensor voltage 4100mV steady as a rock.
I went back to the file in notepad and changed the line to

MyECU Cfg Pressure=250mV,121mB,4100mV,1060mB

Save and load file then download into ECU log off and on again, upload file from ECU and save it under a new name. open the file and sure enough the line has taken and reads

MyECU Cfg Pressure=249mV,121mB,4102mV,1060mB just slightly off from where I set it.
But heres the problem when I turn on the key the dislay acts exactly the same ending at 659 mb Huh

What's the map really seeing 1024 or 659.
As you can appreciate this will have a huge effect on mixture.
My controller is Ver1.51
What to do???? Sad

1024 is the software substituting for a completely bogus value.
It sounds like you may have a broken connection. Follow the signal from the sensor, thru the 47k resistor and to the pin on the chip. Try measuring the voltage on that pin. It should match the sensor.
With a fine soldering iron, applying heat to that pin should restore the connectivity.

Thanks Cliff, will check today. It takes 30 - 60 seconds to reach 659 if thats a further clue.
10 minutes later
Damm, you're good.
I pulled the board started at the sensor, looking for the 47k, What 47k?
That must be the one left over in the bag, how could I have missed that one, surface mounted almost crowded out by the screw  Embarrassed
I'm such a fool Sad
Now let's see what this baby can do!
It's a wonder I could get it to run at all eh!
Thanks a million Cliff
Cheers

Update
Ok I went on a 200 km jaunt, the ECU worked well in spite of being way too rich now the sensor is working.
The stock map is too lean bacfires and snatches at low speed but I will use that as my start again point of reference.
Thanks again Cliff
BTW I showed the local Guru (Chillawack dealer) the MyECU he rides a V11 with PC, he is very interested.
