First start issue on 1100 sport IE 1997

I've buy the myECU 16M a few years ago, and after a strong crach with my 1100 sport IE, I have now plug the myECU on my bike.
But i can't start the engine with myECU, The engine start well with the old ECU magnetti.
I can see several things with myECU:
I have sparks on the cylinders.
The value read for the batterie voltage is arround 5v (the real value is 12.78V)
I have unplugged the myECU, and check all value of resitors, and the sens of all diodes, all is  correct, even under the chip.
On desk, I have plugged an alim of 12 volt, the voltage read by the caculator is correct. But when I plug 2 resistors of 3.3Ko to simulate temp sensors, the calculator finds about 5v! like on the bike...
I have checked the voltage (without resistors) on pin 3 and 4 of the chip: pin 3 = 2.7v and pin 4 = 2.5v.
One detail, I have a short circuit on R10, It seems me,this is in a mail after the purchase, but I'm not sure...
Have you ideas about this issue?
Thanks,
alain from Toulouse

Ok there are a few translation issues. I guess calculator means voltmeter/multimeter.

A short for R10 is ok for now.

Do you have the ECU talking to the ECUController?

Lets start with the battery voltage.
Using this as reference - http://www.cajinnovations.com/MyECU/pics/My16MMkIII_PCB.png
What is the voltage at the top and bottom of R22 ( near the top left of the big chip ) ?
What is the voltage on the top of the diode just to the right ( D18 )

What does the ECUcontroller show the battery voltage as?

I don't have issue to read/write data to the ECU with EcuConroler
votages of R22 and D18 only with 12v plugged
Top 12 v, bottom 2.10v, top of D18 1.94.
I think the voltage of 2.4 is correct but if I check the voltage of the diode i don't find .7 volt like for silicium diode.
2.1v - 1.94v = 016 volt I remark just that all my diodes are 1n4148, not 1n914. I have checked this diode without alim, 0.62 volt, OK!

could you share the electronic schema of this part of circuit?
May be  I have a bridge between 2 pistes?
I will extract the board of the box in order to check all welds.
thanks for your help!

The top of that diode should be 5V.
You received an email with errata along with the map and ECUController. The first step is to provide a link to carry the 5V from the CPU area of the board to that area. It sounds like you haven't done that.

WRT the diodes. Just about all the diodes are reverse biased so you wont see 0.6V across them.

Thank for your mail.
I did the update of the board and the engine starts correctly. Youhou!!
It's very good new for me.
Thanks cliff, for your work and your Help.
But... after about 15 seconds, the engine coughs, and I have many small explosions in the body of the right injector. As if the spark advance is too large...
several times, I seen the spark Advance slider reach 330 and even for differente values of RPM.
I know that your system is not the cause of this behavior because i had the same with the magnetti.
I have replaced the phonic sensor in the engine... no change Sad
I will change the 2 coils of spark , to see if the problem occurs in the left cylinder.
Have you an idea?
Thanks

At this stage the only table you should modify is the injdur - the amount of fuel. Don't touch anything else yet.
I'm not sure you're looking in the right area. Nothing you're affecting explains a 15 seconds run.
Have you done the first steps - http://www.cajinnovations.com/MyECU/FirstSteps.htm

The problem to me sounds like fuelling. What MyECU does after starting, and maybe the OEM, is to lean the mixture, or rather reduce the boost. It sounds like your bike is too lean.

thanks for the recall of the first steps. With the basis map expanded of 15% of InjDur , the engine runs almost well. I will start the test on the road.

Thanks
