Getting started myecu

I am about to install myecu to my 1100 sport ie.The bike is running with KN air filters. One filter each side.Originaly it seems to be some sort of pressure sensor connected to the original filterbox via some rubberpipe. How will it effect the myecu running without this connection?Do I have to switch back to the original filterbox.

The sensor is a good thing. Just take it off the filterbox, connect it and strap it anywhere under the tank.

You can't leave that input floating if you don't have the sensor any more. Probably best to connect the input to the +5V that also goes to the sensor and use the map entry for the pressure sensor to make that come out as 1024mB
