Lambda Probe wiring into Computer 16M box
04/17/12 at 22:18:40

G'day all,

Got myself one of the best looking Guzzi's that Guzzi ever made ( Black 1100i Sport ) Roll Eyes and I have just recently got a MyECU for it and will be fitting it real soon after I sort out my problems with the Prado's faulty idle switch on the potentiometer throttle assembly.
Just want to ask you all what type of weather proof connectors did your use to go through the side of the computer box for the lambda probes wires.
My fully assembled kit came with a small triple plug and 3 little wire terminating bits that go into the plug so it can be connected to the board.
Need to get weather proof ones because it might be a while before I get the lambda probes fitted, and by the way Cliff's installed map might be good enough to not need them.

Thanks and be prepared for some real dumb questions after I have installed the ECU. Tongue

Steve

I used the existing "diagnostics" connector for the Lambda probe, after adding wires internally that connects the affected pins to the right places.

Stein-Dinse and others have the required connector that fits the diag one.

Cheers for that Raz,

That seems such a simple idea.
But because I got my ECU assembled and looking at Carls wiring diagram, the white dia wire that goes to pin # 10 seems the one to use, pin #10 appears to be one in the row of the bottom connectors and trying to solder a wire to it would be near impossable for clux like me. But when I get the ECU Controller program to work properly so that I can save my map I will have a better look at your idea.
