Hello all, my names Jay and I have a Guzzi Jackal. I got the bike with the standard ECU and a My16M. The standard ECU doesn't prime the fuel system when the ignition is on, after the battery went flat and died. I put the My16M in and the pump primes. The problem I have is that she takes much longer to warm up, won't quickly settle to a decent idle when I stop and pull in the clutch, often dieing, and she smells like she is running rich. A friend who had the bike before me tried to lean her out a bit, but said he just messed things up.
Is there somewhere I can get a standard Jackal Map to download and install.
My only other option is to buy a used ECU and they start at about £390.

The bloke I got the bike from is Tony Smith, I believe he was in touch with you a number of times. He told me it was a My16M. The problem he had with it, was that sometimes the fuel pump would not stop priming after 2-3 seconds.
My bike is  Moto Guzzi California Jackal. Where can I check which Myecu it's supposed to use?

My wife has an android phone, which dongle would you recommend I get. Do you have an idea what sort of cost is involved in you checking out the ECU and upgrading to the latest firmware?
When up grading would you be able to load a map for the Jackal?
