MyECU16M on Centauro First Steps

Hi MyECUers!

I'm a new MyECU16M owner. Thanks to Cliff, I soldered my MK7 quite easily, without any mistakes. I also have the BT module with the Optimiser for Android.

I have loaded the map that Cliff sended to me "Sport10.ecu"

I can startup my bike only heating it before with my original ECU.

I Obsreved my idle RPM jumping to 1600 RPM with MyECU. I used the idle screw to down it back to 1000 RPM. (maybe I was wrong?)

I made a little Ride and I think i'm "poor" nearly 4000 RPM. I made a data log but It disconnected after few a minute (maybe due to my pocket).

I have several questions:
1. About the TPS adjustment, I didn't understood how to dertermine a good value for my bike. Actually it's set to 0.

2. About the autotune feature while riding , is there a max amount of data log in the Android optimiser? What kind of ride do you advise to get precises adjustment orientations?

Thanks for your help!

TPS 0 is the automatic setting. Without seeing the log from your bike I can not recommend what you need.
Make sure the fast idle ( choke ) is off when getting the log.

The Android Optimiser will fill all available space in your device if allowed. Smooth riding needs to be used.

If you put a MyEcu on your bike for the first time, beforehand make a thorough tune up exactly after your bike's manual. In this case especially the TPS and the idle setting.
Then plug in the MyEcu and check what idle value in mV is shown on your Optimiser or Android gizmo. This value then should become the basis of your maps (where actually a "0" is set) and this value should be kept fix. Otherwise you won't have a suitable basis for comparing maps etc. or switch back to the OEM ecu for whatever reasons.
Having said this I'd further say you did wrong when you adjusted the flaps to a whatever Myecu map.
